Anachrony: Fractures of Time – EN

Return to the shattered future of Anachrony with Fractures of Time, the game’s first big box expansion from designer Dávid Turczi with Viktor Peter and Richard Amann. Built for 2 to 4 players and running roughly 60 to 120 minutes, Anachrony: Fractures of Time deepens the acclaimed worker placement and time travel strategy game with new mechanics, a new faction, and reworked solo content. Note that this is an expansion, not a standalone game: it requires the Anachrony Base Game or Essential Edition to play.
The centerpiece of Anachrony: Fractures of Time is the Path of Unity, a new playable faction that arrives with six oversized 55mm miniatures and a striking new area called the Valley of Amethynia. Here, players gather Flux Cores to power their Fracture device and unlock the expansion’s signature Blinking mechanism, letting you relocate an already placed Exosuit to a new action space instead of placing a fresh one, or instantly recover spent Workers and Free Action markers. A brand new Worker type, the Operator, adds yet another layer of tactical choice to every turn.
Beyond new components, Anachrony: Fractures of Time reshapes the flow of the game itself, compressing play into 4 to 5 Eras instead of 5 to 7 and introducing an optional Era Zero that lets players dip into time travel before the first round even begins. Solo players aren’t left behind either: the expansion ships with an improved Chronobot for base game solo play, plus the all new Chronossus, a flexible solo system compatible with nearly every other Anachrony expansion and module.
