The Road To Nationals 2022, Classic Constructed is once again organized at GG Lounge. Battle for amazing prices and entry into the National Championship.

Our RTN event is hosted on Saturday 23rd of July 2022, the first round starting at 11.00h (doors open at 10.00h)

RTN Format

Our format is Classic Constructed. You’ll have to bring your own deck, and prepare a deck-list which you’ll have to give to us before the start of the event. We’re expected to play 5 swiss rounds with a top-8 cut.

Rounds are 55 minutes (which already includes 5 minutes set-up time for sideboarding, shuffling, etc).

Take into account that this event is using the new competitive rules enforcement level. This mostly means that we have a closer look at rules when mistakes are made, and a judge might issue penalties when needed (cautions, warnings, an intellect penalty, or even a game loss), and whilst during regular casual events your opponent might allow you to revert a bad play, or have your tunic be added a counter after you missed the trigger, this will not be allowed during the RTN. That said; we mostly want the event to be fun so even if you’re new to the game and don’t know the rules that well, we will be able to assist and make sure you’ve a great day too (you may, after all, always ask a judge for clarifications)

Rewards

Besides the rewards below we will also add 4 boosters per player into the prize-pool – distributed amongst the top 8. With more than 12 players, this means the 1st place will get a full display (Uprising)

1st (at the conclusion of top 8)

• 1x Cold Foil Adult Hero – Fai or Dromai (Randomly awarded from the heroes included)
• Boosters or Display (Amount depends on player count – 4 boosters per player into prize pool)

2nd – 4th (at the conclusion of top 8)

• 1x Cold Foil adult hero – Fai or Dromai (Randomly awarded from the heroes included)
• Entry to Nationals 2022
• Boosters (Amount depends on player count – 4 boosters per player into prize pool))

5th – 8th (at the conclusion of top 8)

• 1x Cold Foil adult hero – Fai or Dromai (Randomly awarded from the heroes included)
• Boosters (Amount depends on player count – 4 boosters per player into prize pool))

9th – 32nd (at the conclusion of swiss rounds)

• 1x Rainbow Foil Extended Art Card

Side Event

After round 5 we will also run a Blitz side event. The 1st place reward is a cold foil Kayo, Berserker Runt. For every player we will also add 1 booster into the prize-pool.

Thus, if you don’t reach the top 8 there’s an extra possibility of playing for a cool reward.

To participate, it will be 6 euro’s per player. You can pay during the day itself, if you decide to join. Minimum player count is 6.
